Humans and Animals: A Shared Adventure?
This is the theme explored this year by the Festival of Sciences and Arts organised by Aix-Marseille University.
As part of a rich and varied programme inviting us to rethink our relationship with animals, Hans Silvester will speak at the Théâtre Antoine Vitez in Aix-en-Provence on Wednesday, 16 September, from 2 to 3 p.m.
His photographic talk, “The Cats of the Cyclades Through Hans Silvester’s Lens”, will reveal the unique coexistence between humans and cats. His photographs bear witness to a Mediterranean balance in which the animals play a full part in local life—an opportunity to explore our relationship with the animal world through photography.
