« From Addis Ababa, it takes three days by 4X4. First the road, then the tracks, increasingly difficult, the broken paths where you get bogged down in the rainy season. Soon, the vehicles stop passing. We continue on foot. I visited the Omo tribes 36 times, staying in their territory for three or four weeks at a time. I wanted to capture the images of these little-known peoples who perpetuate their age-old traditions as close to nature as possible, protected for some time to come by the poor state of the access roads. »
